Desolation Sound is located at the northern end of the Sunshine Coast on the west coast mainland of British Columbia.
The hub of the region is Powell River, a town of about 15,000 eclectic people separated from the rest of the mainland by two ferries to Vancouver in the south, and from Vancouver Island via a 90 minute ferry across the Strait of Georgia.
Our office location is in Penrose Bay, Okeover Inlet, some 30 minutes north of town. From here it is 8 nautical miles by kayak or motor boat to our island oasis in the heart of Desolation Sound.
Powell River can be accessed via BC Ferries from Vancouver or Vancouver Island, via Pacific Coastal Airlines from the south terminal of Vancouver International Airport, or via Harbour Air from downtown Vancouver.
